Once you begin working out, you will want to know how you are progressing on a daily basis.  If you are going to the gym, then there may be scales there that will track your weight loss.  If you are building muscle, you will be gaining weight.  But how do you know if you are losing fat as well?  The scale at the gym will not give you this information.  The best way to determine if you are gaining muscle and losing fat when you are working out is to use a body fat weight scale.

The best body fat scale will be programmable and will save your profile.  It will take a few minutes to set up this scale, but once you have input all of your information, it will determine how much of your weight is from fat.  It will give you the percentage of body fat to muscle.
